Here for the long run...

Print media increases credibility, it has history and staying power... It says you’re here for the long run! When your message appears in print, potential customers are more likely to read it and remember it. Print media is perceived as more trustworthy and reliable because it is tangible and stable...  Read more...

There’s no doubt that print marketing is extremely effective, having several advantages over other forms of marketing, it can produce incredible results alone or when combined with digital marketing. Furthermore, it outperforms other marketing methods in many ways.

While people tend to go out of their way to avoid online adverts, more recently they seem to regard print advertising as creative forms of information running alongside editorial. They are far more likely to digest the information and retain this when faced with creative, eye-catching print advertisements. Targeting your audience is important, and made easier when you consider the choice of publication available, so you need to ask yourself, what is my ideal customer reading? and how can I stand out against my like-minded competitors...

The same is true of other print mediums - signage, business cards, brochures, and banners, all reinforce your message, and you can economically promote your business and give more visibility to your brand, products, and services through respected and reliable printed items.

BUT REMEMBER ... not all designs are equal.
There is a certain talent for creating memorable, visually engaging, and effective advertising and print marketing. Well thought out design, layout, and content are essential. It should leave an impression, create question, or need, and direct potential customers to your door. It should take you on a journey and embed itself in your subconscious, so that when the need arises yours is the first business that comes to mind.

Developing your new business is exciting!

Lets start by creating your logo and brand from the ground up ... together. Read more...

Your brand is a valuable asset. It's much more than just a logo; it's how your company appears to the world, and how it makes your customers feel, so it's important to find the right colour tones and typeface to represent your business. We'll think about your brand's personality, and who your brand will be attracting, this will need to translate across everything you do, and portray the look, feel and tone of voice across your advertising and marketing as your business grows. Once we've established your brand's personality and created a memorable logo, we'll need to think about how and where it will appear - I'll design options for your business cards, stationery, promotional literature, social media, and email presentation. All of this will be packaged together with your brand identity, which will include your colour palette, fonts, and style guidelines.

Getting your name in front...

When done correctly promoting your business through merchandise has been shown not only to be the most cost-effective way of getting your name in front of your customers, but also to build trust and customer loyalty. Read more...

That post on social media will vanish in a few seconds, unexpected emails go unread or get easily deleted... Physical branded products, however, when chosen correctly to represent your business will be seen not only many times but, potentially by many people. When they hand over your pen to get a signature or use that tote bag to go to the gym next, other people will see your company details, too. Branded products should be recognised as a valuable tool to generate awareness and create business opportunities.

Unlike a business card that may be kept in a wallet for future reference, a mouse mat, travel mug, or weekly organiser embellished with your business information, will get your logo seen and remembered for weeks, months and years after it's been received. It serves to keep your business name fresh in customers' minds and make it easier to contact you without having to search for your details or look up a competitor's details - eeeek!

Here are a few things to keep in mind to make your promotional merchandise work for your business:

  1. Keep it simple, too much information will lose impact – your logo, your contact number and possibly your website are all that are required
  2. Choose quality products in your brand colours to ensure consistency, remember this product will represent your business and its standards.
  3. And always choose products that are relevant, and useful in order to increase the amount of use they will get and therefore the number of eyeballs that will see it.

If you're thinking about the benefits promotional merchandise can bring to your business let's talk - I'm here to bounce ideas around as well as produce the artwork and I can find you the right products at the right price.

Stop them swiping up

Most people will conduct an online search before contacting any business, so it is critical that your online presence and social media is visually engaging and encourages your customers to contact you. Read more...

Don't lose out to a squirrel...

I would not recommend you build your business reputation using social media platforms alone, however they are fantastic for reinforcing your brand to your loyal fans and directing new and potential customers that might not have seen you before, to your website or physical place of business.

It's a great place to make connections and communicate in a more personal way. Be aware that 1st impressions really do matter here, you have only a few seconds to get noticed before that 'squirrel' moment kicks in and your swiped up as people move onto the next compelling image - so it's important to get it right, using great visuals and snappy content. Once you have their attention, your customer should be able to look at your profile and immediately understand what your company stands for and what it offers. I can create branded banners, social media posts, and advertising solutions to provide directions while establishing reliability and trust for your business.

I have been fortunate enough to have worked with Tracie in various capacities and have always been impressed with her creativity and her work ethic. Over the years Tracie has created various adverts for me, she’s so easy to work with, very down to earth and listens to your specific requirements as well as coming up with alternatives that may not have been obvious. Tracie has so many talents, she created a fantastic illustration of my shop and we have sold her artwork over the years which has been a great hit.

I love the work that Tracie has produced for SoleLution from designing some of our window posters, Easter Egg Trail posters and leaflets, to the amazing illustration of our shop in Portishead, which now features on our online Thank You cards and also our Christmas adverts.  She listens to the requirements and then puts on her own twist.
Can highly recommend.
